The Hotel St Pierre, in the tranquil and picturesque village of Newmillerdam, Wakefield, is conveniently located just a few miles from J39 of the M1, in close proximity to the major cities of Leeds and Sheffield.
Under new ownership, the hotel has gone through a luxurious refurbishment programme of all areas, including all the bedrooms, which was completed in January 2007. The hotel aspires to be the most prestigious Boutique Hotel in the area.
The hotel boasts 54 bedrooms, incorporating standard and executive rooms as well as a range of suites, 6 conference and banqueting rooms with a capacity of 150. The award-winning Pierre's Restaurant has a fine a la carte menu and a varied and interesting wine list. The more informal and contemporary Bar Lounge has a selection of lite bites and snacks, a well-stocked bar plus a plasma TV with Sky channels.
Leisure facilities are available locally at Green's Health Club, offering state of the art gym, pool, spa, sauna and steam room.

The rooms all have ensuite facilites, with a shower and a bath, tea coffee making facilites, colour television with sky channels, ironing facilities/trouser press and hairdryer.

From Leeds-Bradford airport: Turn left onto Whitehouse Lane. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the a658. Continue on the a658 until you reach the junction with the a6177. Turn left onto the a6177, then at the roundabout take the first exit onto Slip Road. Bear left onto the a650, and at the third roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the a62. From here turn left onto the m62 (junction 27). Exit the m62 at junction 29 and continue onto the m1. Exit the m1 at junction 39, then at the roundabout, take the first exit onto the a636. Bear right onto Durkar Low Lane, then turn right onto the a6186 Asdale Road. Stay on the a6196 until you come to a right-hand turn onto the a61 Barnsley Road.
